This is an amazing series. The bluray is an amazing visual and all the bonus features makes this collection an excellent value and a wonderous addition to any collection...as long as your collection isn't full of Carebears and My Little Pony. Amazing cinematography and storylines, few franchises hold up to such extension in legnth. Essentially 8 movies and scads of extras.

If ur like me and ur real cautious about ur blu ray disk dont buy this set cause there not in cases they slide out and they leave scratch marks on ur blu rays i hate these kind of sets use regular boxes like most sets do and not be cheap with this sliding out garbage.

The extras alone are worth the set.
The book like case is gorgeous with art and movie stills for each movie included in this set. Each movie contains commentary and where applicable another version of the movie. All the special features included in the DVD's are here with a lot more added just for this set. All together you get two of the greatest sci-fi horror / action movies ever made in Alien and Aliens, Alien3 which is worth watching just for the stunning 5.1 surround sound and my least favorite Alien film Alien Resurrection.The book like case is gorgeous with art and movie stills for each movie included in this set. Each movie contains commentary and where applicable another version of the movie. All the special features included in the DVD's are here with a lot more added just for this set. All together you get two of the greatest sci-fi horror / action movies ever made in Alien and Aliens, Alien3 which is worth watching just for the stunning 5.1 surround sound and my least favorite Alien film Alien Resurrection.

Alien Anthology (2010) > Alien Quadrilogy (2003)
This is the better version of Alien Quadrilogy. The difference is that for the 2003 Quadrilogy there were problems with the dialogue, especially in Alien 3 Workprint Cut. For this 2010 Anthology, they re-hired the original actors to re-record the dialogue that was missing. All 4 have director's cuts, but the third one REALLY needed it. The original was so damaged by Fox that Fincher's original vision was marred. Watch Prometheus. Then this. Then turn off all the lights.This is the better version of Alien Quadrilogy.
