The vacuum arrived today, and I didn't hesitate to try it out as we have been using the shop vac for the past 2 wks (our DC17 Animal's motor blew after 17 yrs). With 4 pets that was subpar at best! I see the canister is for Asthma & Allergy vs Animal like we have; I didn't even know there was another version of the DC17; apparently it is the same just comes w/ different attachments. Item as described/packed securely/shipped fast. Thanks!!
