    Its for my granddaughter and time will tell.

    I haven't opened this particular product yet as it is a gift for my granddaughter. I had a similar Nagy kit when I was a kid and it really helped me to learn different drawing techniques and perspective. I am hoping that it will help my 10 year old granddaughter also.

    Going back to art basics of my childhood

    Sometimes todays trends are more novel than new, in fact many things are new but not all things that are novel are not true. This means that art making is simple and creative. All the new media, even electronic applications are great, but they don't guarantee good art. We still need the basics, to practice and review them, even 60 yrs later. Jon Gnagy was my first "art instructor" and TV art class back when I was 10 yrs old in the 60's. His drawing kits are still awesome 61 yrs later
