      There is no question that Nancy Zieman is the best even after she has passed away a few years ago . Her instruction books , videos and all educational material are and will always be amongst the best companions for beginner sewists and professional alike The only thing about the book I bought is that it should come with a video which unfortunately did not come with the book I bought I would still recommend the product for any person who sews their own clothes

      Altering patterns made easy

      This books with its method of altering patterns is easy for anyone to understand and accomplish. Just measure what you need to add or subtract from any specific area of your pattern. Then you use pins, you place your pattern on a piece of cardboard and pivot or slide depending on what you want to do. The book shows and tells, and shows thing step by step. I highly recommend this book and also Fitting Finesse both by Nancy Zieman for pattern altering.
