    Powerful, easy to use. Easy controls.

    This is a powerful flash with adjustable settings. You can modify pretty much everything on this flash. From power input to Guide Number. It is also wireless with compatible camera. The setting for it are very easy, which makes his flash stand out from the crowd. It has a LCD Display, rotating knob for settings and just three switches for communication. One of the easiest flashes to use fully I had known. It is relatively small for its power. It has articulated head, power zoom head. LED Video assistive light. Olympus FL-600R is one if the best design flashes I had used in the past, and I used at least thirty different flashes past year. I like how small it is for its power, how simple the controls are, how easy to use it is. How good and consistent lighting it provides. Thank you. ...

    Great addition to an Olympus Micro 4/3rds system

    I have more than one Olympus Micro 4/3rds body and more than one of the smaller flash units. I decided to give this one a try as I sometimes need more light and faster recycling when taking pictures of my granddaughter. This unit is easy to use and meets all my needs. I especially like the video light. I don't use that feature often but it is very nice to have when the occasion calls for more light than the ambient light available. It is a bit pricey but then again I expect to be using it for many years to come.

    A good flash for interior use

    This was a used flash. It works fine after cleaning a small amount oof corrosion on the battery compartment contacts. It is smaller than some of the other flashes (FL-900R) yet still offers considerable light for most purposes.

    good flash. Menus are an issue

    Sometimes the menus change and I am not knowing why. Sometimes, the camera is off or in the wrong exposure mode. Or the flash is not attached correctly. Sometimes the menus change and I have to turn the camera off and on again. Not sure if the flash is defective. Maybe I am doing something wrong and I will learn with experience. FYI I am not a newbie. I use 2 Nikon SB800 and a SB900 for high speed hummingbird and other bird photography.
