      Best DS Pokémon Gen

      Pokémon Black is one of the best in the series. Very ambitious in terms of plot, monsters, and setting. Game Freak took a chance by keeping all catchable Pokémon in the first half of the game region exclusive. There is many different opinions on the monster designs, but I am a fan of many of them (Serperior, Chandelure, Volcarana...), and appreciate how this design choice makes for a unique adventure.

      It's a good game, but has a hard playing of this game. Gym leaders in this game are hard to beat, but not too difficult to overcome. Has a good feeling of playing this game.

      A hidden gem of a title

      This game is peak Gamefreak design. Not is the story actually thought provoking, but it also doesn't grind the game to a halt. Plus it's got just enough exploration to keep you busy without being tedious to go back or find stuff. And the cherry on top? The game is challenging without being grindy and unfun. A shame the fans didn't like it, and now legit copies are priced like rare artifacts. But if you can get it at a good price I'd recommend it.

      Extremely Happy!

      I bought this on impulse, not knowing whether or not it'll work. After receiving and putting it into my 3DS, the icon loaded up and the game runs smoothly! I'm so happy to have it since this was actually my favorite generation and I regretted not getting this version and it's sequel alongside my copies of White and White 2. I can't wait to play through it and relive my memories of playing this generation throughout high school.
