About this product

Product Information

Kagome is a 15-year old Japanese school girl who discovers a secret well at a Shinto shrine that transports her back 500 years to a feudal Japan filled with demons, goblins, and magic. Soon she discovers that she is the reincarnation of a powerful priestess, Kikyo, the keeper of a magical jewel known as the Shikon. When the jewel is shattered into a million pieces, Kagome must team with the half-demon InuYasha and travel Japan collecting the shards and, invariably, facing evil and bizarre demonic creatures. This long-running and widely popular series is another ingenious invention of Rumiko Takahashi, the millionaire Manga creator of the surreal RANMA 1/2 and URUSEI YATSURA. After InuYasha began airing on the Cartoon Network it quickly gathered a rabid American fan-base. In episodes 121, 122, and 123, InuYasha must battle Bankotsu, the last and most powerful of the seven-member band of zombie mercenaries that the demon Naraku raised from the dead. Then Kagome must try to free Inuyasha from the tentacles of Mt. Hakurei, even as Naraku materializes in his monstrous new body.

  • Why I bought this

I bought this movie because I absolutely love InuYasha. And I buy the single volumes instead of the season box sets because I like all of the different artwork for the covers. So that right there is pretty much the jist of why I bought this movie. I like the fact that there is a lot of action in the series but there's also some moments that tug on your heart strings. My only peeve is that there are only 3 episodes on the dvds. It's kind of annoying. And also, there are a bit too many flashbacks. But those are quite minor. All in all I absolutely love the series and if you haven't checked out InuYasha yet, I highly recommend it. It will appeal to both a female and male audience. Thanks for reading!

  • InuYasha Rocks

If you like the anime series then this section is a good place for you to watch The band of Seven is a great part I think in the InuYasha series. The fights and emotions make this an awesome dvd.

  • Naraku Reborn

I am an Inuyasha fan and I am trying to catch up on episodes. I love the relationship between Inuyasha, Kagoma, Shippo etc. I been trying to watch the episodes before I go to work in the morning.
