Like most great products in recent years that vanished, this was discontinued by Mary Kay years ago and replaced by "mineral eyeshadow" which irritates many women's eyes. Why oh why do they do this. It was a perfect eyeshadow that blended on the eye beautifully and now we are stuck wearing these old ones. Mine however went on just like it did years ago. Beautifully. Ladies write M.K. and petition them to bring these back and while your at it, tell them we need the BASIC SKIN CARE line back as well. You will love Mary Kay eye shadow products!
I have been using Mary Kay products for years. I have tried various eye shadow products, from the more expensive brands sold at department stores to the less expensive brands sold at drug stores, and I have never found a better eye shadow and blush than those made by Mary Kay. The company provides a great variety of colors to mix, match, and blend, and the "look" is very unique. I have received numerous compliments about my makeup - the blend of the eyeshadow colors and the way they highlight my eyes. My only challenge was trying to choose from such a wide selection of colors! One note to buyers: I have been using the same colors for years because I love them, they work for me, and I am not willing to give them up! Mary Kay often changes their product line, so if you find the colors ... I have been using Mary Kay products for years. This eyeshadow is top notch in my opinion. I am an eyeshadow fanatic, and when I first tried this product 9 years ago, I instantly fell in love. Super easy to apply, and the stick application goes on fast and smooth, with no need to blend. I have searched everywhere for a shadown in this color, and have never been able to find one that has the shimmer and "pop" this one has. It also lasts all day without fading.This eyeshadow is top notch in my opinion. I am an eyeshadow fanatic, and when I first tried this product 9 years ago, I instantly fell in love. Super easy to apply, and the stick application goes on fast and smooth, with no need to blend. Mary Kay Signature Eye Color
I purchased the Mary Kay eye shadow because I wanted an eye shadow that was black, but did not have sparkles or shine. I have used eye shadows by other cosmetic lines but they irritate my eyes. Mary Kay products don't cause an adverse reaction for me. This particular eyeshadow does flake a little. I remedy that by making sure my eye is closed while applying, and using a clean eye shadow applicator to remove any flakes from my eye area or face. This is a small price to pay for the color and long-lasting effect this eye shadow gives.I purchased the Mary Kay eye shadow because I wanted an eye shadow that was black, but did not have sparkles or shine. Great traveling sizes...
Mary Kay eye shadows are long lasting. They don't cake up in the creases or wear off after a few hours.I love Mary Kay eye shadows, but like many others they are really expensive with my consultant. I get a better deal this way. This size is fits right into my compact holder and easy to switch colors if needed.
