Buy Them
They are impervious compared to traditional nickel frets. There is no such thing as tarnish on these, so the sound each note makes won't ever dampen. There is no such thing as wear on these, because they are made out of harder stuff. On the whole, you don't have to ever crown them (unless your guitar neck was made by questionable hands), but you do have to smoothen the fret ends or they will slice your hand open. Be sure to glue each fret in too. These can be roughly cut to size with a pair of tin-snips eliminating preliminary use of power tools. The ends can be shaped with diamond tipped files and or diamond tipped dremel tools.
