    Very basic but reliable irrigation timer

    Not many bells and whistles to this, but if you're just looking for a basic and reliable irrigation timer, this is it. Bonus stars for having a battery compartment that's easy to access (about once a year). Our original one lasted for 3 years before the timer started acting up. We liked this model so much, we just bought the exact same one to replace.

    Great timer

    I finally got to try it out after much rain. I did get to try out the rain delay which worked everytime. The timer went on & off without a hitch. I can't comment on the durability yet as it is fairly new. It was very easy to set up. Make sure your connections are nice & tight & the dial is set to auto. I set this up with my new Orbit sprinkler & am very satisfied. It sure beats getting up at 6am to turn the sprinkler on. I don't think I would use it when I am away but that's just me. Getting a bit off topic- my advice is to try to locate your hose where you don't have to move it when mowing. Mine is hidden in my flower beds.

    Nice product if it lasts

    Original review, see update below it. I bought one of these irrigation timers as a test and was so pleased I bought four more to water all the zones in my yard. They are very easy to install and program, and have all been keeping accurate 24 hour clock time to within a minute or two. The manual override button is very handy. It defaults to 10 minutes of watering but more minutes can be added by pressing the + plus button. I have no idea how long these timers are supposed to last but they feel solid and sturdy, and I am very impressed with this economical irrigation solution. Update. A few weeks later, two of these five timers failed completely, with the valve in the open position. No amount of resetting, reprogramming or brand new batteries could revive them. To be fair they were not brand ...

    Most for your money.

    Got this to water my garden. It is easy to program, does exactly what it claims it will, and is very accurate. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it's all plastic and it's durability is still in question. May last forever but who knows. I would definitely buy this product again and do recommend it to anyone looking for such a device.

    Orbit sprinkler control timer

    Great product...have used them at three different houses. Simple to operated,reliable and well designed. Battery life is great (more than one season if removed for winter). Better than much more expensive and complicated units.
