Relieve your back pain ,fish longer, enjoy your yak.
I was a lil apprehensive when this seat arrived due to the appearance of no upper back support compared to a stock sit on top kayak seat. After 20 minutes in the water I noticed a huge difference in how I was sitting more elevated instead of dipped down and back in the kayak. Raising the seat cushion 3 inches makes your center of gravity slightly different and you are in a more lawn chair position. The lack of upper back support is because by design and I never felt the need to lean back or wanted the extra back support from the old seat. My favorite thing about this seat is of course zero back pain after a decent fishing session and I can now pee sitting down in a can which is priceless to me since I fish urban areas where getting out isn't the easies thing to do.
