    The CPU works, but it runs hotter than a 95 watt processor should, even at idle. Not sure what is causing this as I have it installed with an AMD factory cooler and the correct amount of themal paste. In the same setup, a Phenom II X2 BE 570 (80 watts) ran a lot cooler...even under gaming load. This thing as almost as hot as a 125 watt 965! So I can't return it as defective, but I can't recommend that you buy one from this seller either.

    Fast for its' genre.

    Super fast compared to the 940 pin AM2+ 9500 (2200Ghz) I had. Not many things can identify the processor though. Old machine purring along like a baby ... sadly, a 200G HD that was 7 years older fell over just after this install. Coincidence I'm sure. A V8 where a straight six used to be.
