great good shipping my only only complaint. Is this was not factory reset so the previous owners Nintendo ID was still associated with he unit. Meaning that we can not use online to dl games.

Wii U is a good supplemental system for the enthusiast gamer w/ an X1/PS4.
I bought this product for Mario Kart 8. The retail price is too high, but at about $230 for the console it is a fair purchase gaming enthusiasts will be happy with as long as there are already games they're interested in. Personally, I had little interest in Mario Bros. U/Luigi U and traded it in towards the purchase of MK8, which also allowed me to download Pikmin 3. If there are Nintendo games that interest you, you will likely not be disappointed. The system itself is pretty slick and once updated is pretty easy to navigate. The interface is definitely easier than the Xbox One's and right on par with PS4's. The hardware is lacking but Nintendo's games have outperformed the technical hurdles of the console quite nicely. The shoulder button placement and width of the controller makes it a bit too unwieldy to use with as much enjoyment as your typical controller. The gamepad is still passable, but not my preferred method. As a primary console the system would be disappointing for the average gamer. There's simply a lack of games beyond Nintendo's first party, and most of the third party games performed better on their 360 or PS3 versions. As a secondary (or tertiary) console, however, there is some good value to be had from Nintendo's first party. You won't be picking up the next big AAA release on this console, but you will find some offbeat, memorable games that will delight.

My parents loved it
I got it for my parents for Christmas as they're huge Nintendo fans and they play it and keep the grand kids distracted with the tablet view to watch videos and play games so they can watch the news and other shows.

A very entertaing time. Decent choice of games long replayability. Many good games , a fast user interface. Tons of first party titles.I love it. Fast internet connection mario s s b. Game pad is versatile and changes how games will play. The game pad has terrible battery life 3 and a half hours.
