GoPro Hero 2
Since getting my Hero 2, I really love it. The video quality is superb and I loved using time lapse photography on it to capture the night sky. The only thing I didn't like was that the case it came with hat a scratch in it that you can see in the picture so I bought a new one. After using it, the main benefit to getting the Hero 3 or 4 is the fact that they are WiFi enabled. So if you wanna save some money, get the Hero 2 because the quality is superb and it's nice and simple. I would definitely recommend this product. Since getting my Hero 2, I really love it. I like the GoPro, I just need to learn to use it properly.
I haven't had much chance to use it. The one time I did, it didn't turn out too good, through no fault of the GoPro. I used it at night without extra lighting. I'm still learning.

Great for someone who is just getting into videoing
I bought a used but in great shape HD Hero2 to see if I would like it. Needless to say I’m impressed! I didn’t want to spend a lot on a camera I wouldn’t like so I went with an older model GoPro. I tested it out last week while I was fishing and other than the case muffles the sound out because it is waterproof I have zero complaints. I had to download software for my laptop but other than that it is just plug and play. Video quality was excellent for a older camera. I may get a newer on down the road but this will suit my recording my fishing and hunting excursions well. It came with everything i needed but a battery, chest harness, and the sportsman mount. All of which is no big deal i bought generic batteries for it. Overall if you’re wanting a GoPro and don’t wanna spend the money for ... Great Videos
I got this GoPro Hero2 to take videos of the rides that I make on my motorcycle. What can I say? It is a GoPro and it takes great video footage. I do recommend getting a battery bacpac for the longer rides though. I use this every time I get on my bike so i have a record of anything that might happen to me or someone else. I also get some great footage of riding through the twisties and trees. GDSI got this GoPro Hero2 to take videos of the rides that I make on my motorcycle. What can I say? The best all weather action camera
The GoPro HERO 2 is the best all weather action camera because of its spherical lens with matching exo-case lens. Also with an easy to navigate menu, making this my favorite GoPro. With the spherical lens rain, sleet, snow, mud and other debris shed right off. I prefer to have my GoPro's outside vehicles for better image and audio quality. With the newer GoPro's flat lens even just rain sticks right to the lens no matter the speed. I started out with 1 HD HERO and traded up 6 weeks later (the HERO 2 was released). After getting a 2nd HERO 2 the HERO 3's were released. I traded up to a few combinations of the HERO 3's ending with 3 BLACK EDITIONS. When the 3+ came out I received 1 as a gift. Then when the HERO 4 came out I purchased 1 of the BLACK EDITIONS. A river then stole a HERO 3 ...
