The Mitsubishi 71008 is the exact replacement for the Mitsubishi 61209. For the amount of worked required for replacement, don’t go for a cheap rebuild. It will cost you in the end. Will purchase a 71002 again from DIY if/when the ‘08 Element starter goes out. Excellent unit!
