    The Brothers are back

    The band that I keep going back to is back. They just don't make music like this anymore. These guys are serious about their music and it shows. The Haynes/Trucks combo on guitar is nothing short of outstanding. Saw the original lineup several times and the band that carried forward for years. This group of guys deserve much more national attention than they are getting. I can't stop playing this CD and anything that's posted on youtube from their concert.

    Another great recording from the Allman Brothers

    I've been a fan of The Allman Brothers for a long time but initially was interested in the earlier recordings. Brothers and Sisters CD was their high point with me. After that, their studio recordings went downhill. The downhill stopped with "Seven Turns" being a very good recording. Hittin' the Note is another great CD similar to Seven Turns. For those who like the Allman Brothers, it's a solid recording that I would give 4 stars (out of 5).
