Before I bought it I asked though if it was the clamp with the yellow pads or the one with the black pads, because the product image showed 2 different clamps. The seller said it was the yellow model. I received the black model. (note: other differences aside from color). The return was no hassle and every communication was positive with the seller.

    Hope they last longer this time.

    We are talking about two different things here in my opinion, the repair parts I bought were just fine for a replacement to get my water heater going again, parts fit and work fine. My problem is the poor quality of the water heater, this unit was only three years old and the bottom element exploded, I know my water is hard but the warranty said six years. My last Rheem water heater lasted four years and eleven months but it seems the engineers can make them even cheaper so why would I ever buy another one.
