My experience with HardCoreMac was above and beyond 5 Stars. I was attempting to upgrade a very old version of Filemaker onto a newer Mac. There were many bumps in the road and it took a while to figure out which version could convert my old software to run on mac OS10.6.They wouldn't give up until we got it right,which took quite a while. It was not the original disk by the manufacturer and was a burned disk. I only know this as I have the original disk just lost the product key codes. It worked so I got what I wanted. It also came a day later than promised when ordering.

We did not sell you the disc. We sell the license key card. We burned the software on a plain white disc as a courtesy and convenience, as noted on the note included with it. The seller stated that what he sold was like new and had a valid license key. When I received it, I checked the license key with Claris Corp. They stated that the license key was valid, but that it had been used to register the product before. In other words, the seller sold a used license key, and therefore, not valid for registering the product. I could not use the product. When I notified the seller, he refunded my payment. Caveat emptor to anyone else.

Since this software was designated "end of life" by Claris years ago and is no longer supported, key generators and other tactics of bad actors sometimes catch us in the crossfire, but we always fix the issue or otherwise make our customers whole. We opened brand new boxes and removed the cards, but sometimes that's not enough. We fully refunded the order and apologized for the inconvenience. Our decades of overwhelmingly positive feedback is no accident.
