    Wide and large enough for a heavy man to use.

    I purchased this for my bedridden father in law, after the metal bed pan I got for him was too hard for him to roll onto. This bedpan is the solution for a patient who has no strength to raise their hips, or sit upright yet does not want to defecate into a diaper. Caring for a terminally ill loved one is hard on the patient and the family and it is a stressful emotional transition for all to go from using a bedside commode, to have to use a bedpan. This product is not uncomfortable and our patient was able to use it in a mostly reclined position. What upsets me is that Medicare funded hospice won't provide these bed pans to larger patients, and the only product they provide is the tiny little pink plastic bed pan one would use for a child. It's ridiculous.

    Bedpan

    A GODSEND for me!!!!

    Best Bedpan for an MS patient with only one working limb, my left arm. Both legs and right arm are out of commission. Can sit on this bedpan for hours if needed and the most comfortable on the market. I highly recommend this for any paralyzed person!!!!
