Exact Replacement
This Inducer Motor includes Hull Effect Sensor, the motor housing, and the squirrel cage. It was truly as simple as unbolting my old rusted housing, disconnecting the wires, and installing this replacement. Didn't have to drill extra holes, didn't have to adjust or tighten squirrel cage, didn't have to guess at wiring. Electrical was color for color in reinstall. Parts for my old unit are hard to find for my 15 year old Carrier Package Unit, but this was exactly what I needed. It has been up & running for 3 weeks now without any problems. Excellent, quality item! Fit and worked properly, hopefully it last longer than 3 years like the last one. I’m going to find a squirrel cage fan blade to keep as a spare. They rust out and cause noise and vibration which is cause for replacement.
