The Need for Speed series makes a significant departure from previous entries with "The Run," which has players on a high-speed race across the country. Your goal is to make it from San Francisco to New York City as quickly as possible while trying to outmaneuver those pursuing you -- from law enforcement to the mob -- and outwitting your competition. Each destination is broken down into a series of time-sensitive stages that has you completing specific objectives before you can advance.<br><br>You'll need to swerve to avoid spotlights and bullet fire from a pursuing helicopter, for example, or make it out of a city before time expires. For the first time in the series, you'll engage in on-foot sequences as well as driving missions. Your car will periodically crash during the course of your travels, at which point you'll have to continue on foot. Rather than directly control your character, you'll instead rely on scripted quick-time events to dodge bullets, leap across rooftops, engage in hand-to-hand combat, and more. Successfully tap the right button at the precise time to continue the action.

Great Game! Perfect 3ds game!
There has been so many racing games out there, for such a vast number of consoles. As an Owner of the 3DS console I wanted a game that was very action packed. Need for Speed franchise has been very successful in the way of racing. Some games focus heavily on one thing or another, i.e. Cops, racing or takedowns. The run has it ALL! From the beginning, you start out in action and it does not end there. The run from start to finish leaves you with a taste of action and cool stunts. The GRAPHICS for the 3DS are OUTSTANDING! The story-line is in no way dry, The cutscenes are all played in comic like form which is actually pretty AWESOME for a game once in awhile. However, there are a few downsides to this game, such as the fact that you can not customize your car or for that fact, choose a car ... The race is from COAST to COAST, which leaves room for exciting game-play through out all of single player mode. The cars you do uncover are far from slow, you get very nice quick, edgy and advanced racing cars. This game definitely compares to several other racing games in its nice graphics, however for 3DS this game is pretty ASTOUNDING! It beats Fast and Furious and Burnout for psp. But will always fall short when compared to a console connected to the TV. If you want an EXCITING, HEART-STOPPING, GRAPHIC BEAUTIFIED game, That involves lots of RACING, CHASING, CAR TOTALING FUN.....Then, Need for Speed The Run is a game that you should definitely own!!

I enjoyed the cinematics ,graphics and few of its odd ds functionality
The best and first need for speed game for the 3ds and still great though it has some online player lakings

Awesome product
Love the game great story line and many cars to choose from it's by far the best need for speed game ever got this game for 2 weeks now and it's still fun to play I highly recommend this game to anyone.

Very disappointed
This Game is faulty. It's never worked. It's rubbish. I waited too long for this as a present for my son to find that it didn't work & looks like I have lost my money on this.
