When contacted, seller says “that’s because it’s old.” I’ve bought and own many old books, and age of the book does not permit inaccurate descriptions.     Big bang for your buck that fit'll in your bag

    I have been trying to get a hold of this book ever since I spotted it at my local bicycle cooperative: The Yellow Bike Project in Austin. The book is well informed and Tom Cuthbertson does a very good job at giving out good advice on how to be prepared for the unexpected on the open road. Even if this book is from 1981. I guess you would say that this book is good at covering the basics. I would say that this is for someone who just happens to start riding bikes, probably has bought an old European ten speed with steel rims and cottered cranks and hasn't had the time or care in the world to figure out how to work with this old technology. This book would surely be for them. Tom covers the basics quite well, such as, how to diagnose a problem; what to do with a bent steel rim; what to ...
