Lightweight, Easy to Use. The best on the market.
Creative Zen is the only MP3 Player I ever use. The screen is easy to see and the buttons make the menu simple and easy to maneuver. I can also fit lots of photos and videos on my player, as well as my music. No other MP3 Player design works as simply and as easily as Creative, for me..

Creative Zen pros and cons
Likes ~ On the go playlist creation. Something the walkman player need since there is a lack of good playlist managers for it. ~ Stylish interface. I like the zune's a bit better but the stock wallpapers were nice. ~ Great sound quality. Not an audiophile but quality is good enough for me. ~ Volume limiter. ~ Shortcut button (you decide the shortcut) ~ Decent extra features Dislikes ~ Playlist creation is a bit weird. If you're playing all your songs at once and decide to create a playlist with the first song being the current playing one then instead of adding that one song it adds them all. In my case 1075 songs. to one playlist. ~ The interface is very slow to respond. Found myself fighting against the interface most of the time to do things like lower the volume, change songs, ... I came from ipod to walkman E to zune to sansa to walkman S all of these had a button devoted to volume control. With the zen you have either use up the shortcut button to have the somewhat the same volume control as the players listed above or go through a process to lower the volume. Take note to the above con. ~ Going from song to song is IMO a hassle. The left button is browse by letter the right button is browse songs individually. When playing a songs, lets say you go to the next song and decide the song you really want to listen to is right above the current playing song. Instead of hitting back and going to portion of the song list where the song is playing, you go to the beginning of the list and have to find the song again. Once again imo this is a hassle since ipod(haven't owned one in over 5 years), zune, walkman, nor sansa had me go through this. I heard creative zen was a good player. Maybe just for them and not me like the ipod. One thing is for sure despite going through 5 different companies I can safely say ipod is at the bottom of the list of player I'd try again. 1 Sansa 2 Zune (only problem I had was the lack of a volume limiter.) 3 Walkman 4 Creative 5 Apple My alternative for the moment is the nintendo ds which hasn't failed me yet.

Great MP3 Player for audiobooks!
My first Zen lasted over 10 years and I am so pleased to have a new one due to EBAY ( product no longer produced)!!! It must be linked to a PC and not an Apple computer, so keep that in mind, but it will keep 10 bookmarks for your audiobooks and is really easy to use.

Awesome player!
I've always loved Zen products, so it was an easy choice to get this player. Its easy to set up and organize all your songs. The screen is just the right size for videos, and the player is still portable. Lize most Zen's the usb makes it the most user friendly and fast to charge. Thanks Zen for being awesome!

Great - except for proprietary video format
Has the same great sound you expect from Creative, which is the main thing, and the look, functions and use of little player itself are excellent. However, it's really frustrating - make that infuriating - that the only video format supported is exclusive to the MX and you can't convert to it except through the incredibly counterintuitive Creative Centrale. That bites.
