    Out of 10 hard disks, 1 was defective. The seller said he had tested them all, I believe him. However, the hard disks were packed in bubble paper, not protected from static electricity. As warned by the manufacturer, when handling hard disk drives (HDDs), anti-static precautions should be taken, because static electricity can damage sensitive electronic components. The seller gave me my money back for the defective one. However, static electricity can also cause damage that will show up later.
