Backpacking grill sized just right
I have tried other back pack grills. They are light weight but yet warp with heat. Some are worse than others. I have inspected this grill and see it is thicker and more robust when compared to other grills in the same price range. The cross members are stiff and I can not push on them to make them bow. The length is great. I can put my military cup on one side heating my water while still using the other side at the same time for smaller items and a full piece of bread for my toast. I would buy this grill again. I will probably make a more durable carry pouch out of some material I have at the house. I have never had a good long lasting pouch made out of any type of plastic product. Only time will tell on that part. For now it is fine and appears it will last for several trips. Great little thing
This is just a great little grill: lightweight and just the right size for a big steak or two smaller ones. I cut a piece of tin cloth and made a foldable sheet ”sheath” for it. The whole thing is really flat and slips into any compartment of a backpack. Have been using it on a hunting trip for a week and seems to be holding up really well: material thickness is good and I think this thing will last forever.This is just a great little grill: lightweight and just the right size for a big steak or two smaller ones. Perfect little grill for bushcraft
Took on hike with grandkids, stopped to make fire and roast brats. With two small rocks and inch think dead branches we had perfect coals in a few minutes. The grill was just right for 5 brats, balanced about 3 inches above the hot goals I turned them twice and they were done. The grill cooled while we ate and I put it in its bag in the bottom of my pack and forgot about it. It is so light and well made I am going to alway bring it along.Took on hike with grandkids, stopped to make fire and roast brats.
