      Nice light weight unit that does well in certain circumstances

      This is a light weight blower that has a lot less power than a corded blower. However, with some applications this is not so bad. The air flow is much more controllable and you can use the tip for sticky pieces. I got this unit mainly for my roof. I blew everything off in about 10 or 15 minutes without much noise or strain. In summary, it is good for smooth surfaces but it will take a little longer than a corded one to do the job.

      Battery and air volume

      I was a little disappointed in the life of the battery. It runs down pretty quickly, also int the air volume. Not as powerful as I expected. I had a gas blower before and it had 3 times the blowing force. The problem with it was I always had trouble starting it.

      Very good blower

      The 40 volt blower is powerful, light and does a good job blowing off our walk way and inflating ski tubes. Got it to replace a worn out B+D 18 volt blower and it is much more powerful than it was. The 40 volt batteries are pricy but use them with a 40 volt string trimmer and a 40 volt hedge trimmer. Well worth the extra money for the extra power and duration over the 18 volt items that I had.

      Pretty good

      I bought the 20 volt version first and took it back due to lack of power and battery life. This version is much better but more expensive. I use it for rock landscaping. I don’t have grass but I doubt it would work good with grass due to the lack of power. If you need it for a hard surface or rock I would recommend it. Beware that you need to buy the battery and charger if it does not come with them. Many of these listings do not include battery or charger. Both cost a small fortune.

      Lightweight, but does the job

      One word describes this cordless sweeper: lightweight. This tool is perfect for cleaning patios, decks, the driveway or sidewalk, but don't expect to blow debris out of a lawn. It will move stuff on top of the grass, but not so much wet or huge piles of leaves. I'm keeping my electric leaf blower/vacuum to get tree needles and big piles of leaves out of the lawn, but the cordless sweeper is perfect for everything else. Nice not to have to deal with the extension cords anymore after mowing and edging the grass. A final sweep with blower gives my yard a polished, professional look. Quiet, lightweight, easy to use, the Black & Decker LSW36 gets the job done without hesitation.
