Product Information

The influential punk-pop rock band Green Day goes interactive, with a dedicated release in MTV Games' successful play-along franchise. The game features the band's three core members, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool, in virtual form, on stage at various venues important to the trio's storied career history. As in earlier editions of Rock Band, players can jam with the instrument of their choice, and the Green Day edition supports three-part vocal harmonies specific to the band's music. There are 47 playable Green Day songs on the disc, including "American Idiot," "Brain Stew/Jaded," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "Hitchin' a Ride," and "Wake Me Up When September Ends."

    LOVE THIS GAME!

    I bought this for my daughter who is a huge Green Day fan, and she absolutely loves it! She plays it all the time! It's a super fun game. I bought the microphone to go with it so we can sing along.

    Decent Game, I Say!

    This is a decent game, the set list is sturdy with an even balance of great music as well as terrible music. As far as aesthetics, a little more time could have been put into that mainly based on the fact of only THREE venues to play in...overall, this is just another installment in the Rock Band track pack series designed to make money in between the release of major games(at this point, between RB2 and RB3). If like me, you have out-played all the other games and need something to waste a few more hours of your time, this is the game for you. Though, I do not believe this game was designed for Green Day fans or else it would feature the band's original EP's, or at least NOT feature the '21 Century Breakdown' album(the worst of them all).

    LOVE IT!

    Direct from my son (the end user): "I'm a huge fan of Green Day. I knew every song on the set list and since Rock Band is harder than Guitar Hero, it helped me get better at the plastic guitar rhythm games. Basically, the point is, I love it."

    Green Day Fans Will Not Be Dissapointed!!

    Excellent game. This was my first time playing a Rock Band title as well and I love that my Guitar Hero World Tour instruments worked with the title. I will definitely be buying the Rock Band titles from now on. As for the game; The Green Day will be happy with this product. I have been a Green Day fan for many years now and I think that the song selection was excellent. It included their best work. Playing was a fun and entertaining experience and I loved every single minute of it. The awards for winning the challenges were great and included interviews as well as live performances by the band. The only qualm I had was that in order to complete the "21st Century Breakdown" album you have to buy it through Rock Band 2 or 3. I have no problem paying for the extra tracks but I just wish ...
