2016 Volvo V60 R-Design.What a cool gizmo this is! I heard and felt a weird thump from the rear of my car and then, seconds later, the dash lit up with ABS, TPMS, ECS and City Safety warnings. I had a hunch that it was a bad wheel speed sensor, but I didn t know which one, or where to start. Within 30 seconds of plugging in the unit (without really knowing how to use it), it told me that I had a faulty right wheel speed sensor. $31 part is ordered! Sorry, local Volvo Dealership!

Saved me $1000s from the stealer Volvo dealers!
Paid for itself 100 times over since I’ve done a ton of work on my xc70! I’ve cleared airbag lights that come on when removing the heat/AC controls while fixing the radio. I diagnosed my faulty AOC pump. Reset my clock spring in my steering wheel column, saw misfires from cheap spark plugs, reset all kinds of faults that were stored and then any time I get back in I can see if it’s a problem or if it’s a one time issue. Like I was getting a fuel pump code but found out it was just my fuel cap not on tight enough. Bought a $15 cap and saved $300 on a fuel pump that didn’t need replacing! You think Volvo would clear all this stuff for free! Nope they charge you $90 just to plug in their device! GET THIS!!! It’s simple to use!!! I've been trying to get some specific diagnostic codes for my 97 Volvo 850 for some time, didn't like the dealer's price or attitude. I did have a $65 generic scanner, but it wasn't capable of returning Volvo specific codes. I bought this scanner after talking to the vendor Matt. I haven't used it extensively yet, but in the first 5 minutes of trying it, I had the specific codes I needed for diagnosis of the problem I was working on, (transmission). It returned DTCs specific to my model Volvo. Easy to use, fairly intuitive, great display, with decent instructions. Comes with an offer of post purchase help from Matt, in addition to the usual manufacturer support. Limited function for saab
It's more for volvo than saab. Doesn't do all the functions it lists if your going to use it with a saab. Example is the steering angle sensor rest isn't available for saab where it is for volvo but is a good tool just limited if your a saab owner
