Not for the push buttoners.
It reminds me of the old KAY attenuators. The concept is good but the execution is poor. Attenuation calculations are directly out of the ARRL 2020 handbook. A thick layer of enamel paint engulfs the casing inside and out which makes it difficult to ground the switches and connectors. A #24 floating wire was used as a ground buss, non teflon connectors and bottom plate not grounded. Mine arrived with a defective 20 db switch for which they gave me a 50% discount. Have ordered sanding material, washers & star washers and teflon SO239 connectors to improve performance. An internal examination reveals that there are no inter-section screens, and thus there is significant cross-coupling when attempting to use high attenuations. The maximum attenuation is supposed to be 82dB but with all the cross-coupling it is only approximately 70dB, and this only at relatively low frequencies. Not Usable for High Frequency signals
The attenuator accuracy is quite inaccurate at 50 MHz. It is unusable for HF signals. It may be reasonably accurate at audio frequencies only. The internal construction with long thin wires reveals why it isn't accurate at frequencies above a few MHz.
