This player also has digital coaxial output for use with home theater speakers. Featuring a complex memory, the player remembers the spot paused not only on one DVD, but also up to six discs, should a user need to switch them, and it also plays dual layer discs. Beyond DVDs, this device plays both JPG and MP3 files burned to a disc as a music or slideshow. This Sony DVD player is also ENERGY STAR approved, with a low power consumption rating of 8.5 watts.

    The item was exactly as described and arrived in pristine condition. The remote arrived in a small bubble envelope which didn't offer much protection however there doesn't appear to be any damage, so that's a win-win. It did take a full seven days before the seller actually handed it to Canada Post (paid Feb 21, Canada Post received Feb 28) but other than this slight inconvenience, everything is good!

    Excellent player in condition better than advertised!

    Easy to set up and install, but great player for the price. The remote control is also very easy to operate, and even uses slo-motion and frame freezes. Picture quality is HD, spot on. Seems sturdy, but is not large, bulky, or heavy. It fits right underneath my larger screen TV.

    Very good dvd player

    It has all the functions as my older and reliable Sony player plus an HDMI port. The one shortcoming I see is it does not have a display on the front that shows the running time or status which makes it very difficult to tell whether the player is on or off. The light on the power button is nearly impossible to see.
