    Requires drilling holes

    I installed this shade on a common standard size Fantastic Fan. Although the mounting brackets are adjustable they still require drilling a hole in the bezel because the shade housing is about an inch too narrow to align both brackets with the existing screws holes. Camco also supplies a 3rd( (tiny) screw to hook the loose end of the shade to when extended. Although it does the job should have designed a simple clip-on hook for the fan bezel instead of requiring drilling another hole. The shade is still a nice solution for blocking out most of the light, but Camco could have done a better job designing a simple add-on solution for the common Fantastic Fan.

    Lights NOT Out

    You'd think with a name like "Lights Out" the vent shade would block light from coming through. That's why we bought it. But it is actually translucent. Light shines right through it. A better name for it would be "Lights Get a Little Dimmer". The photo shows the view from inside the trailer with the vent shade pulled across the vent opening. Keep in mind that there is a white vent hood installed on the roof over the vent. so the light is already somewhat blocked. Direct sunlight on the vent would be even brighter. I am thinking about painting the shade with an opaque paint.

    Cam I roller shade for roof vents

    Purchased 2 of these for my fiver. I installed them in minutes and put one over my bedroom, and the other over the kitchen. This is to keep light out and heat . They work great.

    Surprised how good
