Where the coupling is at the end its very wide, slightly bigger than the hole in the gun and a struggle to get in properly. It does go in though and I imagine it will get easier with time.

I struggled to connect it to the lance initially, you need to push it in fully (you’ll need to move the rubber collar down a bit) then rotate it from side to side until you hear it click into place.

Whoever has this in their basket - ORDER IT NOW. Quality is amazing, no more twists and tangles and kinks or whatever that was frustrating me before with the original karcher hose. This is definitely worth the money and is excellent value
