    Powerful, Light, Affordable

    Sweetwater comes through with fast, free delivery, on an excellent Class D bass amplifier, with all the bells and whistles of amps at double the price. The Bugera Mosfet circuit and e.q. provide a variety of tonal voices. I'm using it through an 8 ohm 4x10 600w cab, and loving it.

    Bugera is OK to buy

    I have always been skeptical of products made in China and other areas of Asia, but I guess that is now a fact of our lives. So far, I am very impressed with this unit. The price is certainly right for what you get. Bugera advertises it as a 2000 watt amp into 4 ohms but does not specify what kind of watts.. Based on the information on the back of a Bugera raw speaker, if you divide the 2000 watts by 4, you should get the RMS rating of 500 watts which is still pretty impressive. They specify 1000 watts at 8 ohms which would then be 250 RMS, but it does sound like more than that. Hopefully, the unit will last. Only time will till. The preamp is simple but effective. The built in compressor does a nice job, and the parametric mid eq works well.. Buttons for "deep" and ""bright" are ...

    AWSOME AMP!!!!!

    I was very skeptical about buying this amp due to the inflating power specs and, frankly, due to reliability problems that were attributed to the parent company, Behringer. However, I kept reading rave reviews on various forums and did not find a single issue regarding reliability-not one!!!! The amp that the BV1001M would be replacing was a GK 1001RB II. That was an amazing amp-until it fried and could not be repaired! Fortunately, I purchased the Guitar Center 2 year Pro Coverage and was able to get a refund. I took the plunge and bought the BV1001M. I don't know what the true RMS power is, but this amp is super powerful and has ridiculous headroom! The GK 1001RB II was rated 700 watts@ 4 ohms and 460 watts @ 8 ohms. With the BV1001M's master volume set at 9:00, the output sounds a whole ...

    Plenty of Power

    The Bugera bv1001 M has a nice punch to it and lots of clean power. The amp has nice highs and mid selection knob works well with my bass cabinet. And yes it has plenty of low end bass. I replaced a europower 2400 and bass V preamp with this head and I am impressed with the sound and power in such a small light package. Compressor works well also. Great value for the money.

    Perma-grin!

    Perma-grin! So it's obviously not 2000 Watts as rated but it's an easy 500 for sure. I have it going through a 1x15 cab Gain and Master both at noon and I'm rattling windows and junk off the shelves. It came down to this and the Hartke TX-600 and I'm sooo glad I went with the Bugera. It has the same features but 3x the power.
