      Absolutely Necessary for Nkon Z Cameras

      This is an essential accessory for the Nikon Z camera system if you want to use your existing F-mount lenses. It adds no distortion. bus allows the electronic signals to move between the lens and the camera for proper operation, including Auto Focus It works perfectly with AF-S and AF-P lenses. Unfortunately, it does not allow Auto Focus with older AF lenses, but I do not have those, so no issue here. If you don't want to spend big bucks on new Z lenses, or it your favorite lens does not have a Z version yet, you need this item.

      A must if you have a collection of expensive glass

      It really seems to depend on what legacy lenses you have, tor maybe if you have legacy lenses. It actually works pretty seamless with my Tamron 24-70mm 2.8, for photography, haven't tried out for video, but I also have a pretty old 180mm prime that though aperture works focus does not even try, yet it worked fine on my D600 and D750. Of course it is very useful if you have a collection of expensive glass, but actually I am very pleased and impressed with the clarity of the 24-70 f4 "kit" lens on the Z7.

      A Must Have Item

      The new mirror less world is here to stay, the adapter is essential and works great with older but great lenses, some people go with the new S lenses for many reasons, one is for the silent zoom for video, I shoot a lot of landscapes and that’s definitely not an issue. I will also use my Z7 for some 8K time lapses, where that, again, wouldn’t be an issue. So far … I am planning on keeping my older lenses, may add S lenses when the time is right for me.

      Received my adapter for my Nikon Z7ii and downloaded the new firmware for my camera and adapter. Worked great and I was able to fit my F-mount lenses on the adapter nicely. I will buy another one for the next Z camera I purchase.

      Should be standard

      Works great on my Z6 for adapting F mount glass, Nikon should really give these free with all Z system cameras to increase the adoption rate of the new bodies. I have tested it on both Nikon glass and third party lenses (Tamron, and Tokina) and they all work. Definitely recommend if you have a Nikon z camera, and want to continue using your great F mount glass.
