Fun for all ages
Our 12-year-old son plays with these, making shapes and designs, either on the fridge for a 2-D design or just alone for a 3-D design. I think it could help teach spacial relationships, which could help with geometry and designing in the abstract. Regardless, its' a creative way to pass the time and keep your hands busy. The bad part is that now he wants more to make the designs more complicated.

Good to develop a young mind. Price is a little on the high side though
This set will give you hours of creative time. But there are other sets out there for less money. I bought these thinking they were bigger. Now that I know they're so small, I would have opted for a knock off or larger size set.
