    solid 3stars, but unless the cable routing is fixed i cant recommend it.

    i dont like how the cable exits the lug on the mech; it goes out at a sharp angle and ive now seen some people complain about busted cables. the cage part of the derailluer takes a degree or so of moition before the clutch kicks in and theres this 'play' feeling in the chains startup/reverse movement. the advertisement stuff talks about the sound of the ratchet as the major drawback but this isnt true.. the feeling of the cage rattling forward and back is. with the 48t cassette i wish the b-set alignment was more consistant throughout the cassette's range given it has an offset pulley but what do i know... may be the smaller cassette indexs more crisp. it isnt bad and honestly its now performing similar to my xt mech i last used except for the rattly, ak-47(adventx) vs carbine(xt), ...

    Best mtb group

    Who needs more than 10 gears on a mtb if they aren't racing? Not many I don't think! I ride this for miles and miles straight up a technical hill or on pavement, I never run out of gearing with a 30t up front. Haven't dropped the chain once and it shifts predictably every time. Shimano and sram are in trouble

    Better than Deore

    The shifting is faster and more reliable than my Shimano Deore. The real reason I had to replace the Deore was because the plastic clutch lever ripped off when I slipped off a skinny. The clutch switch on this advent x seems like a more robust design.

    Should of saved my money!

    Bought the whole system, microshift adventx 10 speed aluminum cassette, microshift adventx 10 speed shifter and the microshift adventx derailer. Spent 15 hours adjusting and tuning and still shifting ruff and skipping. Even replaced chain, cables and derailer hangers several times, last two with billet machined aluminum hangers. Very unhappy it’s seems that quality theses days don’t exist anymore just quantity.
