The Fab Four take center stage once more in this exclusive Rock Band spin-off. More than a compilation of songs from the Beatles, the game recreates the band's historic concerts, signature instruments, and changing appearances over the span of a 12-album career. Digital versions of John, Paul, George, and Ringo will not only perform at authentic venues, but also within dreamlike environments inspired by some of the band's more colorful songs. <br><br>As with previous entries in the Rock Band franchise, the game involves playing songs by following onscreen cues with one of four peripherals: a microphone, lead guitar, bass guitar, and drums. Vocals now offer three playable parts, a first for the series, including one lead and two harmonies. A built-in vocal trainer will help you get accustomed to singing each melody, as you are able to freely switch between all three parts with a press of a button. Three microphones are required to harmonize with your friends.<br><br>Featured on the disc are 45 tracks, including "Back in the U.S.S.R.," "Here Comes the Sun," "I Feel Fine," "Taxman," "Octopus' Garden," "Get Back," "Day Tripper," "I Saw Her Standing There," "I Am the Walrus," and "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Downloadable content is also supported to expand the initial track list, with 1969's Abbey Road the first album scheduled for online distribution. Xbox 360 owners will also be able to download a system-exclusive track, "All You Need Is Love," to enhance their collection.

    You can't go wrong with jamming with the Beatles!

    Fun game, A little to easy at times but it's really fun to just jam and be able to sing along while playing. Some of the backgrounds are really distracting though while you're trying to play, psychedelic BABY! I can barely see my chords! People who are prone to seizures should avoid this game! LOL

    This is a game to get if you're into The Beatles collectibles, but other than that it was just a meh Rock Band game with a bunch of songs that you have never heard and probably won't like.

    Happy with purchase

    I found it practically new for $7.00. It was opened, but never played as well as having no scratches at all. It has the manual and everything it came with like it was unopened. I been a Beatles fan for many years and have been enjoying this game.

    Im a big fan of Beatles, so this game is amazing.

    9.0 Presentation A unique experience to be sure, but it would have been perfect with a bit more history built into the Story mode. 9.0 Graphics Stunning and imaginative. The venues are accurate, The Beatles are spot-on and the Dreamscapes are magical getaways from reality. 9.0 Sound The Beatles have never sounded so good. The screams of crazed fans gives a sense of what it was like to play Shea Stadium in the &apos;60s. 9.0 Gameplay The same great Rock Band style, but with the addition of vocal harmonies. Rock Band aficionados may find some of it too easy. 8.0 Lasting Appeal Its biggest flaw is the small library. Though you get 45 great songs, it&apos;s still only 45 songs -- many of which are under three-minutes long.

    While my guitar gently sleeps.....

    As a semi pro musician and a huge Beatles fan, I had to get this game! It's fun to use as a tool to teach my daughter basics of guitar/bass playing. While the game is good and well thought out, it's not as good as the Guitar Hero branded games. The RockBand "instruments" are much nicer and easier to use than Guitar Hero ones, but the game-play isn't as fun. Overall, it's a good game that is clean for children to play. I would buy it again.
