    Nice kit !!

It was as expected. I would have given a five-star rating, but the frame was broken in the bag. I am not sure how or why. Otherwise, the product is as expected. The model will also be a collector's item for Vega fans of all types. It will be a fun build if you decide to actually put it together.

    yes

It is a beautiful kit of an incredible car. There are some things, however, that are very painful for me and prevent a 5 star rating. it has an automatic transmission. This car was a 4-speed, and pro stock, in '72, was at the dawn of the Lenco. No automatics, very painful. the valve covers have 6 bolts, more pain. What American man doesn't know how many bolts hold down a small block Chevy valve cover? There is more, but these are the biggest bummers for me. These problems are fixable, but for $30.00, I feel that they are unacceptable. It has been obvious to me over the years that the manufacturers of model car kits sure don't know diddly squat about cars. They need to hire a few guys that do. Guys that drag race. Despite these sickening, mind bending mistakes, I like the kit, but I am ...

  • Very accurate, quick build.

I saw this car when it was new. This is a very basic kit, but will build into a great model of an iconic drag car. The body is dead-on perfect, and the kit has MANY extra parts to add to your parts bin once you’ve finished the build. Let’s hope MPC releases more of these great cars from the past. GET ONE!!

  • Primitive mold, good body

The only reason I bought this kit was because of the body, decals and tires. The rest is buildable at best. Very soft details and low parts count. To build a really good kit another, better pro street or drag kit would be needed as the floor/suspension is promo style, 1 piece! Chrome in my kit was not smooth and glossy .

I have no idea how to answer the above question... Is it durable? It's a plastic model car kit. The reason I wanted it was that my uncle's friend Ken Gunning was asked to drive the actual car over forty years ago. I thought is would be interesting to saw my grand kids. Do you recommend it? It is of interest to me for the above stated reasons I don't recommend anything for any reason. Is It entertaining? For me! But that doesn't mean much to anyone else. These question are not relevant to any one but me and quite frankly they don't apply.
