I ordered the key fob and received a email and Text from the owner. He told me I needed to have it programmed. I had Tesla technician come out and he programmed it for 20.00. Works amazing.

    Not suitable for 2017 to 2019 Teslas

    This product does not include the encryption that was instituted in 2017. The advertised statement (2012 to 2019) is wrong
