  • Three solid NES action titles, without any frills.

Bionic Commando and Strider were two Capcom titles I rented and played as a lad, but never owned. They were also ridiculously hard, as were most of Capcom's early to mid-life NES lineup. The challenge and fun of both games make the transition to the GBA screen faithfully, and both continue to be solidly-designed, graphically attractive games. Unfortunately (or fortunately, for you purists,) there is no save-option on Bionic Commando or Mighty Final Fight (a fun, stylized version of the arcade/SNES brawler,) and a 12-character password continues to be the only way to retain your progress on Strider. Hence, these are more well-suited for a 1 to 2 hour game session rather than a 10-15 minutes here-and-there pattern of playing. Newcomers to any of these series will find a steep ...

  • Nice little retro package

This Game Boy Advance game is a compilation of three Nintendo Entertainment System games: Strider, Bionic Commando, and Mighty Final Fight. Each game is a faithful port of their original versions, however, that brings pros and cons. The nostalgic feeling of playing these games was what drew me to purchase this game pack. Though they are fun to play, they are not the best games out there. Along with the retro graphics of an older system comes the same old glitches. Strider in particular has some animation and gameplay issues that pop up from time to time. Nothing really bad, but it can make the game harder than it was meant to be. The separate games are fun to play, but also quite challenging. Especially Bionic Commando, which can get quite frustrating sometimes. The main plus is that ...

  • The Classics

If your like me, then your stuck on the classics. The old school games that kept my generation glued to the tv set hours on end. No fancy clip scenes, no thunderous shaking sound, no realistic graphics, just solid creativity at it's finest. The trendsetters of yesterday made the video game industry what it is today. So why Capcom Classics Mini Mix? Capcom was the baddest game developer in the 80's. Games like Bionic Commando,Final Fight, Strider, Contra, and the MMA classic Street Fighter! I call it an MMA Classic because before UFC and Pride we had Street Fighter. The gameplay is great and using just two buttons you can't really go wrong. I love it, the classics are jam packed onto your little Gameboy Advanced Screen. YOu can take the classics with you. Graphics are the same as ...

  • 3 classic games for the price of 1, a must have for GB Advance owners.

What we got here is an excellent compilation of 3 great action NES games by Capcom, one of the greates video game developers of all time. It features Bionic Commando, Mighty Final Fight (the best of the three if you ask me) and Strider. All three games have great playability and aren't easy, so you'll have a good time trying to finish them. The conversion is perfectly done and you'll feel like yo're playing the actual NES game. A totally recommended compilation.

  • Capcom Classics Mini Mix (Game Boy Advance)

Basically, it's BIONIC COMMANDO, STRIDER & MIGHT FINAL FIGHT from the NES. Only 2 of these titles are worth mentioning. Unfortunately on the GBA, Strider is pretty slow,& Bionic Commando has no password feature. So get it if u have a Game Boy Player or u have time to kill. Low replay value.
