Impact resistant and has all common functions plus capacitance, temperature, frequency, and duty cycle. True RMS measurements (required for measurements on motor speed frequency drives, electronic ballasts, rectified circuits, and other equipment using non-sinusoidal wave forms). Meter and test leads for measurements up to 1000V AC or DC. Type K bead probe for temperatures up to1500°F. Includes insulated color coded alligator clips, test lead protective covers, case, and batteries. Manual or automatic ranging. Manual back light that auto shuts off in 3 min. Auto meter shutoff in 30 min unless deselected. Data min, max, relative, and hold function. Only con is the included case which is not padded and does not have a pocket to hold the included accessories, although it will hold the test ... Quality meter that reads accurately
Great meter, responsive and seems fairly accurate when comparing to various other meters I have. One thing I really don't like is every time you turn it on it defaults to A/C voltage and I have to press a button and toggle into DC. I primarily use DC and there's no way to change that. Very annoying when you use the meter a lot but overall a quality unit. It does have a nice bar graph below that represents your digital readout and it moves up and down very rapidly to show any spikes or dips otherwise missed by the slower updating digital display.Great meter, responsive and seems fairly accurate when comparing to various other meters I have. Great Multimeter! MM700
This is a great multimeter for the price. The only con I have with it, is that the display polarization is hard to read from above a middle line of sight. Viewing straight on or below it's excellent. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a Fluke brand meter, but still want a lot of features and a very high quality meter, this is probably the best option. Magnetic hanger is sold separately.
