There is also enough writing to tell the story of his life, but the awesome photos are the main focus of this book. Some of the photos are seldom seen in other books. Any person who considers Mr. Lincoln to be our greatest president, will truly enjoy this book. My Favorite Book of all Time!
This is my favorite book of all time! I am a huge Abe Lincoln fan and find this the best of any book I have read on his life. Every page is jam packed with photos and information from people of all walks of life. Though I have read it before, my teenage daughter is currently reading the book to me during quiet afternoons as part of her schoolwork. What better way for both of us to experience history! This book is a must read for any Lincoln or civil war buff!This is my favorite book of all time! I am a huge Abe Lincoln fan and find this the best of any book I have read on his life. Every page is jam packed with photos and information from people of all walks of life. This book is apparently out of print and I bought it at the encouragement of a friend who had to borrow a third party copy to share with me. Finding the book on eBay was a joy for both of us. My copy looks as if it's been read only a few times and is in excellent condition. Primarily a picture book for your coffee table, the text is expansive enough even for the most die hard Lincoln fan... but isn't that all of us?This book is apparently out of print and I bought it at the encouragement of a friend who had to borrow a third party copy to share with me.
