    Hope Floats - Original Soundtrack (1998)

    I purchased this CD because I accidentally broke the copy I had. I cannot fathom why they no longer make this version, unless it's because Garth Brooks' record company won't let them use his version of "To Make You Feel My Love" anymore. It was the reason I bought the CD in the first place. But I have come to love nearly every other track on the CD, too--if you're looking for mood music, THIS IS IT! Cheryl Crow's "You're Not the Only One in Need" and the Bob Seeger/Martina McBride duet are just to die for. There is also a frothy little song called "Paper Wings" that will really tug at your heartstrings. I actually bought what I thought was this CD at Best Buy and didn't realize it wasn't the same one until I'd already unwrapped it and put it in my CD player and didn't hear Garth Brooks ...

    Incredible Music! One of my favorite Soundtrack's

    This is on of the best albums. The variety of artists and songs included from Lyle Lovett singing Smile, to Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood singing "To Make you Feel my LOVE" and Willie Nelson singing "Angel Flying too Close to the Ground" make this a very listenable, likeable and romantic album to play as background music, or just to sit and enjoy.

    Hard to Find and So Worth it!

    Mainly got this for Trisha Yearwood's - To Make You Feel My Love. So beautiful and only place I could find it. Different soundtrack of movie is now available without hers. Many other great songs on the CD as well.

    Excellent music that you can't get anywhere else

    This CD has some wonderful music that you can't get anywhere else on anyone's album, iTunes, you name it. I've tried - since 1998. There are some great tunes sung by Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Rolling Stones, Bob Seger and more. There's an amazing rendition of Stop In The Name Of Love by Jonell Mosser that's amazing. My personal favorite is called What Makes You Stay by Deana Carter. I'm so glad I found this CD in such excellent condition on eBay. It's so sad to lose good music like this.

    Hope Floats

    I saw the movie and loved the music from the movie. I tried to find the CD in a music store only to find out they had a limited number of copies so it was hard to find and expensive. I wanted to buy the CD but also was trying to get it at a very good price. I have been looking on and off for a long time. I have a list of items I look for and I just keep pulling them up and if the item is a good deal them I purchase it. Most the time I am not in a hurry to purchase so I wait for the best deal. Love the CD!
