Three authentic courses are available from the PGA Tour: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Poppy Hills Golf Course, and Spyglass Hill Golf Course, each of which is noted for its challenge. Along with the usual game features, EA SPORTS offers a new Challenge Game Mode which allows for competition in 12 events and the right to be called EA SPORTS PGA Tour Champion. If tournament golf is not your style, a "Play Now" feature offers 21 competitions. Complete these and you can unlock the red shirt worn by Tiger Woods.

Great Original Golfing Game
This is a great original golfing game. It includes 6 players that vary in stats. But with only 3 courses the game doesn't last as long as the newer PGA towers. If you're like me, and want to own all the PGA tour games, the pricetag is reasonable. However if you're looking for quality go for the 2006 version of this game.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2001 (PlayStation 2, 2001)
Has some features, golfers, and courses, but they are very limited and graphics are very low quality. Can't figure out how to save my game, and there are very few progressive modes. And personally, I'm not a fan of the soundtrack. If you found this review helpful, please don't forget to vote!
