This 1.0 pen puts out a very definite line. The print is easy on my eyes. The action is very smooth with virtually no skips or misses. It is far easier to get results than with a ballpoint or a fountain pen. Occasionally you get a bit too dark. It works best on regular paper. When you write on something like a greeting card, it tends to smear until it gets dry. It writes okay on copy paper, notebooks, and other relatively soft and absorbent paper. Excellent on the kind of paper they print crossword puzzles and coloring books. Overall, just about the best pen I've ever used.
