    Burian: maestro visionary

    If you’re a Burian fan, or you just like great illustration art, then this book is a must to have. A picture book of wonder, with a broad spectrum of subject matter. Zdenek Burian was a master artist whose skill and visionary eye helped us dreamers see into the past, see what is now or what could have been, all with a stroke of his brush.

    A Spectacular Collection of Burian Art in a Huge New Book!

    This huge book is a spectacular collection of Zdenek Burian art. It's worth every penny. All of the illustrations seem to be shot from the original art. The latter chunk of the book on this prolific Czech artist includes an incredibly thorough 88 page Burian bibliography with a full color reproduction of each book's cover. I am an Edgar Rice Burroughs fan, so I was delighted to see the Burian covers for five Tarzan books. I am so happy that Burian's illustrations are being collected into volumes like this one.
