  • Batman with a Japanese Twist

This is one more product of WB's strategy to release DVD-only titles in parallel to theatrical releases in order to boost DVD sales, helped by the main movie. Instead of a full length story, what you will find in here in "Batman Gotham Knight" is six short animations which are not exactly interwined amongst themselves as the product description in the DVD case says (at least in my opinion), but six different stories on how Batman came to be who he is. It is not a mandatory bridge between "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight", but it is an interesting addition for fans. Why the "Japanese Twist" in the review title? Well, watch the DVD, look in the eyes of each character and you will get the answer. And if you still doubt about it, wait for the ...

  • I Like It.

Hi I was waiting for this movie to be release for month's & watch it on Blu-ray format because, DVD sucks now. When I heard "David Goyer" he was going to be the voice for the Dark Knight, I got more interested of the movie. The bottom line if you like Afro Samurai & Batman Begins, you will like this movie. Props: David Goyer is back & the Japanese animation. Cons: It is 76 mins & has no Dolby TrueHD. The back case of the Batman Gotham Knight it say's it support's English 5.1 but, when I go main menu, it only says English instead of English 5.1.

  • MOVIE IN FULL HD

BATMAN revels in the state-of-the-art special effects and frantic violence characteristic to most of director Paul Verhoeven's American productions. Though based on a story by the creator of Blade Runner, author Philip K. Dick, Total Recall is more of an action movie than a philosophical rumination on identity. Still, the film gets a lot of mileage out of the questionable notion that "you are what you remember." The screenplay was finally credited to seven screenwriters; it had bounced around Hollywood for a number of years with different directors and stars before it reached Verhoeven. The director's brand of high-octane, cartoonish violence is a good fit with the material, though his style may have been better suited to 1988's more satiric Robocop. The movie ...
