Does what you want it to
It's a fine bikelock. I had a combo lock but it wasn't great; this one is a good entry level bike if you care about your bike and don't plan on leaving it anyway sketchy for an extended period of time. The rotating key entryway is icredibily annoying, but I'm gonna chalk that up to my inexperience with this kind of lock. The clamp for the bike feels really cheap and slides around everywhere, but it hasn't fallen off- tightening the screw can work to an extent. The strange thing is that, unless I don't understand how to use the clamp, you cannot clamp it to the underside of the top of the bike without interfering with the brakes. But I clamped it to the side of the bike and it works fine. It's a fine bikelock. Really like this lock
I have researched and read about a number of locks, U-shaped and otherwise, and this one came highly recommended by several sources. The ONLY thing that is a problem is that the kit to attach it to the bike isn't wide enough for my bike; I believe the manufacturer needs to offer 'holders' for the locks so that they fit wider width bicycle parts. Otherwise, great lock! Good lock but can't use
Unfortunately there's not enough fitting real estate on my bike for this. I only have one tube small enough and that is where my bottle cage and a bike bag is. I'm short so the seat post isn't an option either. I ended up giving it to my roommate who was happy with it and I ordered the Kryptonite chain lock that I can actually fit in that bike bag.

The lock mechanism isn't that good. You need to "play with the key" in order to find the right angle to lock/unlock it.
