I'm recently getting back into mountain biking after 25 years. When I was still young, I set my ride up with bar ends and they made those uphill battles so much more bearable. So, I knew I needed to get my old set up back. I found these. Great price, perfect length and angle, and they have an awesome solid mount. I ended up buying some for my wife as well. If I ever destroy these on one of my "I think I'm still young" downhill out of control rides, I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Great bar ends
These bar ends are excellent in every way except the finish which is just okay. I recommend them to anyone wanting to try out bar ends. Don't mount your bar ends at a steep angle, this makes them ineffective. Mount them just slightly above level for best results.

As an over 70 female rider, I have a great deal of problems with hand numbness from nerve compression (carpal tunnel) as well as arthritic changes in both thumbs. These bars just provide a few more positions for my hands by providing a “stop” on my upright handlebars.
