This converter works ideally for all types of integrated A/V systems, including video conference facilities, rental and staging environments, broadcast applications, and conference or boardrooms. This electronics device does accept all computer video signals with resolutions up to 1920x1200. It delivers simultaneous output for scan-converted video signals as NTSC or PAL composite video, component video or RGB video, and S-video. A fourth SDI serial digital video output is designed into this converter for dependability and convenience. There are a wide range of features and functions you will find built into the Extron VSC 700 and VSC 700d converters. Enjoy the freedom to make automatic adjustments to the centering, sizing, and filter settings for your finished video products with the auto-image setup function. An internal color bar generator feature simplifies the process of setting up your display. Use the color bar pattern or a black screen as your default when an input signal is present. Synchronize all NTSC and PAL video outputs to a designated external reference signal for easy integration into broadcast and production applications with the video genlock feature. You have the ability to freeze the output video using a built-in free button located on the front panel of the Extron VSC 700 converter. This gives you the capability to capture a single frame of your video to display for longer periods of time even if the source has been removed. The Extron VSC 700 and Extron VSC 700d converters have an exceptional memory built into them. This memory offers a lengthy list of presets that you select for easy recall capabilities at any given time. Among the many input memory presents featured are 16 user presets, 60 different factory presets, and eight zoom presets that are at your fingertips for use. Each memory location has the ability to store settings for the zoom, size, filters, and centering for professional-quality computer-to-video conversions. With automatic recognition, the Extron VSC 700 Converter recognizes and converts all computer resolutions of 560x384 to 1920x1200 for high-resolution output. This feature also transforms all frequencies to a 100 kHz horizontal and 120 Hz vertical setting for this purpose as well. An optional SDI output allows for the facilitation of integration for computer-video signal sources to the desired digital broadcast and production applications you are seeking. Choose from five selectable vertical filters that are offered with the Extron VSC 700 and Extron VSC 700d converters. These vertical filters allow for a reduction in jitter so that you have the ability to improve image quality and maintain all of your picture details. A horizontal filter has four selectable settings for you to choose from. This prevents pixel elimination so that all of your detail is maintained without distortion to the image. The front panel of the converter houses a variety of sizing and centering controls. Their meticulous layout is both user-friendly and allows for quick and efficient image setup abilities. When it comes to the necessary electronics equipment and accessories required for professional-quality video output, the Extron VSC 700 Converters fit to perfection.
